Sim problem

Bought a new sim from carphone warehouse. Put in my daughters MotoG5. The phone is not locked. The Sim does not work - just says 'emergency calls only'. Tried reinserting Sim. Tried turning on and off. Tried waiting 8 hours. Nothing. No one on ID chat and no one answering phones. All day.

They have no excuse as they could have posted
that they are having problems on social media as you are not the only one
me included unable to register a new sim
They are not fit for purpose
