I've only 16gb of built in storage on my Samsung phone. It's dual sim and I use the other slot for another sim card.

There is few tricks that I could recommend for you.
First of all I would recommend you using cloud services to storage your files. You can have look at Google Drive/Photos, OneDrive or Dropbox. Make sure that all your pictures and videos are uploaded there then remove copies of them saved in your internal memory and you will be still able to access them through dedicated app.
Second of all you could try removing or disabling apps that you don't use. You can do it in the settings of your phone. You can also remove full versions of Facebook and Messenger apps if you have them installed and download Lite versions of them from here and here.
Third of all you could install this app made by Google that will help you to organise your storage. Click here to download.
I hope it will help you to save some space.
