Is there a way to enable a login to the app for children? It is useful for my kids to see their usage and allowances left, but at the moment the only way I see of doing that is giving them my password to the entire account, which is less than ideal for obvious reasons.

Unfortunately ID Mobile app doesn't support this option for now.
I could recommend you alternative though. There is an app for Android devices called Datally and it's made by Google. It can give some inside on data usage to your children as well as save some data in the process. Give it a go if you think it may suite your needs and you have Android phone. Let us know if that helped you a bit. Here is the link to the app.

My child needs to monitor his own usage but I can’t allow him login details as it has all my payment details and allows Adult Filtering to be switched on / off.
