Unclear if PAC code worked - problem with chat agent switching

Hello. Before registering yesterday when I got the SIM I couldnt work out which number to register with so I went into chat and the agent there handled the PAC porting. However, it hasn’t happened yet and calls to my old number reach the old service voicemail.  The agent hit a problem with the PAC immediately, but then double checked and said it had worked,  My husband ported his at the same time and his number has switched to ID OK, but mine still hasn’t and I’m not sure it DID work.  The agent originally said it didn’t and then said it had “already switched” (but as I’d not registered or typed my pac or old number in anywhere yet, I couldn’t understand how! PLEASE could somebody check that this is actually porting for me?
