Using an unlimited data sim in Europe

I’m interested in the iD Mobile monthly contract  unlimited SIM for £20.

Can anyone tell me if I can tether while roaming in Europe (France) with this plan?

And what is the fair use policy? I went to:

https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/eu-roaming/fair-usage-policy?_ga=2.79046932.1008392567.1599761112-911499302.1599761112

..and according to the drop-down options at the bottom of the page (£20 + Mine’s not listed) the ‘Open Data Policy’ doesn’t apply; not sure what that means?

Thanks.

Hi @Francophile,

if the device allows tethering, then we won’t prevent it from doing so.

As for fair use whilst you’re away, it’ll stop working after a couple of months if you haven’t returned to the UK in that time. This is because we sell it as a UK SIM, so a certain amount of time is needed for the SIM to be used within the UK. More info can be found on this by clicking here.
