Why can't EE number contact me?

Recently ported my number over from plusnet which was completed on 08/01/2019. Since this date anyone using an EE SIM can't call me. And their texts won't get sent to me either. I can call and text them though.
Anyone know why this has happened, and how I can fix it?

Hi @samo_172,

This is a strange issue, there must be something wrong with the port if it is happening with every EE number. Possibly due to the fact that Plusnet use the EE network as their provider so there could be some conflict.

If you can contact our Live Chat team here and explain the issue to them, they should be able to have this escalated internally to see if it's something we can sort for you.

Spoke to the live chat and they got it all sorted out within a few days 🙂
Could anyone explain what the LiveChat told you to do? I am talking to them right now for this problem and they're telling me all of my EE contacts need to contact EE support service to whitelist my number? There must be another way to do this....
