new sim card isnt working

I ordered a new contract, I received the phone and sim yesterday (through carphone warehouse) 

the sim isn’t working, I can’t even get emergency calls, what can I do? 
Your live chat isn’t launching for me either

Sorry to hear that.

We’ll need to access the account to better understand what’s causing this as all of our SIM cards are activated upon dispatch.

Hi @Zenzizon 

What is your phone showing when you enter your sim into the phone? Is it showing emergency calls only? 

You can activate your sim through the iD Mobile App or My Account online by:

  • Logging in to the app or online account. 
  •  Going to the 'My Services' page 
  • Clicking 'Activate my SIM'

Once you click 'Activate your SIM', the new SIM will be activated within a few hours. Let us know how you get on.

I have activated my new sim I received with my new phone I upgraded to. I have tried all the troubleshooting methods but when inserting the sim into 2 phones it shows there is no sim.
