Sim in different phone

I've just inherited the wife's phone, she was on bt, we had the unlock code and the phone is now unlocked. All my contacts are on the new phone and id did momentarily flash up as the network provider, however now all I get is " not registered on network".

Hi @David Griffiths,

It sounds as though the phone may still be locked to the previous network. Which phone is it?

Please try and do a manual network search from within the Mobile Network settings to try and connect to iD Mobile manually.

Hi Ryan thanks for the reply. It's a Samsung galaxy a70. I have done a factory reset and tried to manually access Id network but it just comes up with an on screen message saying registering on id but then goes no further.

Hi @David Griffiths,

Thanks for trying that. It is sounding like the phone is still network locked. I would recommend contacting the previous network in order to request that the phone is unlocked.
