SMS Issues after porting

Hi,

I’ve just joined id mobile and transferred my old number but I’m having issues with SMS.

When I am texting via iMessage everything is fine but when I am sending an SMS I get a message saying not delivered then the person tells me they have received the message 2 or 3 times.

Can anyone please help as it’s really frustrating?

Hey @Emma Archibald  please try the following for me:

 

1) Turn off iMessage (Settings > Messages)

2) Restart your phone (by pressing and holding the on/off button)

3) Tap Settings > Phone > My Number and confirm that it is correct.

4) If it is not correct, please enter the correct number

5) Turn iMessage back to On (Settings > Messages)

6) Finally, go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive and see if the correct number is displayed under "Start new conversations from:"
