On Friday at 4:30, after changing the sim card on my phone to my new IDMobile sim card, I went into my account and followed the instructions for entering my pac number to retain my old phone number. I received a message after doing so, along the lines of “Your request has been submitted.” I now see that today, Monday, nothing was done, my old number is not working, and the new IDMobile number, which I did not wish to use, is in use. I went into my account again and switched to the old number and am now told it will take another 24 hours to take affect. Why did the transfer I initiated on Friday not happen??? Now I will be without a phone for over 3 days, and am expecting a call from my GP to schedule my covid vaccine at any time. I am incredibly frustrated.
