I have just had my phone number transferred from EE and I cannot send text messages
What happens when you try and send a text message?
What phone have you got now?
Does this problem occur with messages to all/any recipients or just some of them?

Are you using an iPhone or an Android?
If you’re using an iPhone please follow the following;
1) Turn off iMessage (Settings > Messages)
2) Restart your phone (by pressing and holding the on/off button)
3) Tap Settings > Phone > My Number and confirm that it is correct.
4) If it is not correct, please enter the correct number
5) Turn iMessage back to On (Settings > Messages)
6) Finally, go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive and see if the correct number is displayed under "Start new conversations from:" If you are having issues with the above please retry with flight mode enabled and/or the SIM card removed.
Or if you’re using an Android device;
1) Open messages
2) Tap the three dots in the top right
3) Select settings and then chat features
4) Double check that the phone number displayed is the correct phone number
