Adding an image or video to your post is a great way of making it more eye-catching, popular and engaging. Here’s a quick explanation of how to do it:
Adding an image
You can upload images from your device onto your post by clicking on the small camera icon in the text editor.
All common file formats for images are supported. So if your file name ends in .png, .jpg or .gif, you’re in luck.
After a successful upload, you can either leave the image in the attachment or embed it into your post. To embed it, simply place it where you’d like to see it in the post. Easy, right?
Adding a video
Adding videos to your post is easy too. Just click on the film roll button to do it:
You can add videos from Youtube, Vimeo and Dailymotion.
Note: Make sure you paste the original video url, and not the one for embedding.
After the video has been added, you can choose to keep it as an attachment, or to embed it into your post. To embed it, take your cursor to the part of your post where you’d like to see the video, and click ‘place in text’.
