Hey @Vicm

I think it might be the same issue as another user reported when trying to contact UK number from USA. Have a look here and let me know if that helps to solve your enquiry.

Kind Regards

Be sure to update us with whether the above helped or not @Vicm

We’ll be happy to find out more and get you answers if you’ve yet to get this resolved.

HI.

I think the problem is with my phone,HTC Desire 530.

I can call numbers from my phone book with no problems.

However i am getting the above message when I dial a number manually.

I assume I am not entering the dialling code correctly?

Thanks for your  help.

Vic.

Are these local numbers in the Canaries you’re trying to reach @Vicm

The dialling code for the Canary Islands is the same as mainland Spain I do believe.

So you’d want to dial 0034 before the number.

Hi.The numbers I have been trying are to the UK.Do I dial 0044 01etc.or do I leave out the 01 after the 0044?

Hope I have explained myself?

Thanks,Vic.

Hi again @Vicm

To call United Kingdom from Spain, dial: 00 - 44 - Area Code - Land Phone Number

-or-

00 - 44 - 10 Digit Mobile Number

Ignore the dashes, as you wouldn’t leave any spaces.  Be sure to drop the zero you’d normally use at the start of a phone number (when at home) too.
