Unlimited data limit while roaming

Hi,

I’ve read the fair usage policy here: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/eu-roaming/fair-usage-policy?_ga=2.244005509.1651586321.1593591852-1664960122.1593591852

and I understand about spending more time abroad than in UK in a 4 month period which won’t be an issue.

 

However, if you have an unlimited plan (e.g. currently £20 on 30 day rolling contract), is there any set GB limit while roaming in the EU? I would like to tether a laptop whilst on holiday in France and refering to the open data policy calculator (which doesn’t give you an option of unlimited so you have to select ‘mine’s not listed here’), it says that it doesn’t apply which implies even while roaming it is still unlimited?

Hi @yance,

You are correct in thinking that your plan will still be unlimited when roaming in the EU based upon that webpage. As you mentioned, if your plan is not listed on that page then you will be fine!
