Cant deliver messages

I’ve had my new contract for 14 days and today my phone will not deliver text messages. I checked coverage and it seems fine, I checked my phone settings and it seems fine I have no idea what the issue is. I use my phone for working from home so I need this sorting ASAP and can’t seem to get in touch with ID mobile??

Have you ported a number over to iD Mobile?

What phone are you using?

yeah I took over my old number but wasn’t having issues until now… I have an iPhone SE

 There could be an issue with the iPhone holding on to the wrong number since the port.


Could you try the following:

1)    Turn off iMessage (Settings > Messages)
2)    Restart your phone (by pressing and holding the on/off button)
3)    Tap Settings > Phone > My Number and confirm that it is correct. 
4)    If it is not correct, please enter the correct number
5)    Turn iMessage back to On (Settings > Messages)
6)    Finally, go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive and see if the correct number is displayed under “Start new conversations from:”.

Glad to hear that worked.

It’s quite common for iPhones. Hopefully Apple are able to address this in a future update!
