Hi My iPhone 6s has completely died. It’s less than 1 year old. Can I take it to Curry’s to be looked at?

Yes, just take it to know how section in pc world they will have some sort of idea.
Are you sure it's not the new apple update?
Try pressing both on and home button at same time.
You could connect to iTunes u on pc to apply back up and reset, that might get the phone to restart.
