Hi - half of the screen on my iPhone SE has just stopped responding to tough. it is around 15 months old, however I know that in the EU manufacturers have to give a 2 year warranty, even if they claim to only give you a 12 month warranty. How do I get to speak to someone about getting the phone fixed or replaced?

Hi @ziggurat11,

I am sorry to hear that your phone has become faulty. With Apple handsets, there is only a 12-month warranty period available and the Consumer Rights Act 2015 supersedes the EU directive that you have stated as the warranty terms do meet the requirements set out in that act.

If you can obtain a report from the manufacturer to state that the fault was inherent at the time of purchase, we can look to repair/replace the phone for you.

Let me know if you acquire this report so we can advise you further.

Ryan
