new sim doesnt work

Hi, I purchased a sim only package through the carphone warehouse in December as a gift for my son, when we tried to use the sim yesterday it did not work. As you can imagine my son is very upset so please help. I have already tried everything from the  activation process on your website.

Which phone are you using the SIM inside of?
