showing no service or data - iOS 13.4

For the past 4 days, my iPhone 7 has started showing no service or data available- meaning I can’t use data or receive/send calls/texts. It is telling me I have to do the software update iOS 13.4 to get service, but I have tried updating in settings multiple times and I still don’t get service.

Is this an issue with the carrier or the phone?

@Ester Batchelor turn the mobile off and then back on again, that might fix the signal issue...

If not then check the service status in your area by entering your postcode in the Check your network coverage box in the link below

Turn wifi on and connect to your home internet, you will be able to update the software better and faster that way, updating over a data connection is not reliable!

Hi @Ester Batchelor 

Usually if you would have WiFi you’d be able to update your iOS to the latest version through that.  It’s always best to be using the most firmware (iOS/ Android) on any phone for compatibility and security issues.
