submitted pac however text messages / call not coming through to new phone

I purchased a new phone and want to keep my old number. I haven’t cancelled my old contract yet I submitted the pac code and it said submitted successfully however all calls and text are still coming through to my old mobile? This has been a few days now and it says transfer will be the next day? 
 

what do I need to do to get my calls and text to my new phone? and so I need to cancel my old contract with o2 if succeful in transferring the number?

Hi @ZStenson,

 

Once the PAC has been processed, the o2 line will stop working completely, and you’ll start receiving your texts and calls through our services. Is this issue still ongoing, or has the port been successful now?
