unlocking iphone 5s

Hello, I have just upgraded with IDmobile and want to give my old IPhone 5s to my husband and it needs unlocking.  I have had it for 5 years and thought they are unlocked after 6 months.  I tried to call but cut off and also tried you Chat without success.  Could you please help.

Hello @Katrinarosekeelan,

iPhone’s purchased from us should already be unlocked, at least those from 2017 onwards.

I’ll send you a PM if it still needs unlocking.

Re the 6-months thing, it’s that we can unlock a locked iPhone after 6-months, but it isn’t done by default.

How do I get to speak to an agent please?  I have tried phoning several times and just get told to go online. I have tried the Chatbot but it will not help.  I need my old Idmobile iPhone unlocked as I have upgraded with idmobile now.  Any help would be very much appreciated!!!
