Cancel account and stop payment

Please can someone contact me urgently regarding account ******. I have been trying to cancel the account FOR MONTHS but cannot get hold of anyone. I was advised to cancel my direct debit as I was still wrongfully being charged. Now I’m receiving “collection campaign” automated messages for a paltry £7 which I cannot pay because I cannot speak to anyone!

i cannot log on to the I’d mobile site as I have forgotten my password and cannot apparently reset it without the phone using the iD mobile SIM. That phone has been in storage for months and I cannot get to it at present.

Please cancel my account and remove your collection campaign immediately. This is shocking service!

Although I’ve use ID several times over the years, now I am very frustrated and disappointed.

I’ve been trying to cancel my account for 7 months now. Please make it stop.

I have tried repeatedly to discontinue XX-XXX-XXX-XXX.

We live in the United States. I purchased a SIM only account for my wife while she was in England. I think this was sometime early in August 2019. I called to discontinue the account upon her return at the end of September 2019.

I have spoken to agents several times. Unfortunately, I only noted their names the last 2 times. Each time, they have assured me that the account would be closed.

However, you keep taking money out of my bank account and recently, I received a dunning letter saying that I need to pay up or else. Even though the account is on direct debit, I paid the account to make sure.

Here is a log of the calls I have placed. I've spent many dollars and way too much time and I need to get this resolved.

I have the same issue. I no longer use the account and don’t have access to the SIM. I don’t have an account on myID. I’ve cancelled the DD but have received a Final Demand Notice. With your contact centre closed there is no way for me to contact you to resolve this.

Can someone please help me cancel my account. It’s a sim only pay as you go and I only ever used it in my car as a data sim. I no longer have the car and don’t require the sim and have not used it for the last two months. your call centre I closed and trying to get hold of someone is almost impossible

Please keep your Direct Debit open, the reason you should is - After your 30 days’ notice period ends, your plan will close, and we’ll issue your final bill. This bill will need to be paid by Direct Debit within 14 days. This is for your line rental, any out-of-plan usage up to the point of cancellation, and an early cancellation fee if it applies. If your Direct Debit fails (and it’ll obviously fail if you’ve cancelled it), your future credit rating might be affected – so please keep your Direct Debit open!

My wife is stuck in China and has been since 24th January, I cancelled her account but still am getting demands for money she cannot and has not used her account since jan, can someone get a grip its driving my mad

Could you have your wife create a topic on here? 

We’d need to be speaking to the account holder directly in order to assist with any disconnection requests or whatnot due to data protection laws.

Can someone please contact me about cancelling my Father’s account who passed away in May?

My 85 year old mother is now receiving final demand notice threatening debt collection and very distressed.  The number is not in use.

We tried contacting you but could not get hold of anyone.  Cannot use online account as number not in use so had to cancel the direct debit to stop further money being taken.  The contract had also expired.

The quickest way to get the line disconnected would be to send a copy of the death certificate to documents@idmobile.co.uk. In your email, be sure to include your father’s account details, such as:

· Full name
· Full address with postcode
· iD Mobile number
