Hello, i have had a monthly sim only plan with id mobile for well over 12 months, i lost my old phone months ago, so do not have the sim, and have not used any data etc, obviously.
I cancelled my direct debit, but could not cancel my contract on here because it kept telling me my account was closed, 6 months ago, so would not let me log on.
I have letters from a debt agency for £12? How can I be getting charged for something not being used?
Please, cancel my contract ASAP.

Regards me.

Hello @lfc3565,

Cancelling your direct debit does not cancel your iD contract.

You should only cancel your direct debit after the amount owning on your final bill has been collected or refunded to you (by direct debit).

There’s lots of useful articles about this in the “Cancelling an iD Mobile plan” section of this online community.

Anyway, good luck.

Hi @lfc3565, as @andewhite explains, cancelling the Direct Debit or simply not using the SIM would not cancel the contract. You’d need to contact us to do that.

You can contact us via Live Chat, Facebook or Twitter.

Thank you,

Rory
