Cancellation request link not working


I’m not with iD mobile but I received a sms with the following message:

“iD Mobile: A recent request was made at 15:56PM to initiate the transfer of your number. IF this was not YOU please visit: https://cancellation-requestidmobile”

I never requested for my number to be transferred and the link above does not work.

Should this link work?

Anyone else got this message?

I’m worried someone has accidentally punched in my mobile number when doing their own transfer.

That message does not look legitimate at first glance, so please do not open that link. We will send you a PM here in order to check your account to see if this has actually happened.

If any personal information has been shared via this link to the fraudster I would recommend speaking to action fraud as well as contacting your bank to alert them that your details may have been breached.
