Need to cancel 91 year old Mums contract

My 91 year old mother no longer requires the use of a mobile telephone and I am struggling to find out where I can cancel the contract.  When I dial the 0333 003 7777 number and enter the mobile number it says the number is not an ID mobile number!!!! Help!!!

I am sorry to hear about this. You won’t be able to cancel the plan by calling that number, however if you can please assist your mother when using our Live Chat feature here, she’ll be able to cancel the plan with the team.

Absolute waste of time! I only want to cancel a £5 a month SIM for my 91 year old mother and they want power of attorney letters, etc! Ludicrous!!!!
