hotspot on Android/Xbox

Just wondering if anyone knew a way to make an xbox work with the hotpot on an Android device? It connects via IPV4 only, and isn't able to get online, only telling me to check my router settings.

Hi @L9301,

I would recommend resetting the hotspot or creating a new one on your phone. After that, try changing the IP and DNS settings to automatic on your console.

Failing that, there is never a guarantee that a mobile hotspot will work to host the type of connection that consoles require in order to perform efficiently when online I’m afraid and contacting Xbox Support here might help.
