Can't reply to Barclays fraud short number 60183

I’m unable to reply to a text from Barclays checking whether a transaction is fraud or not with a simple Y or N. It keeps stating failure to send. 

Tried raising this on live chat and got nowhere.

Please advise

Please can you try to increase your spend cap limit through your iD app and see if you are able to reply to the message from the bank once done?

Thank you for suggestion. Managed to sort contacting Barclays direct, who say its a quirk their end and it comes up as a premium number but they don’t actually charge for it.

That’s really useful to know. So did they ask you to do anything, or did they just flick a switch on their end or something?

No unfortunately I had to phone them up and wait ages to get through and they sorted my account. No resolution to the short code as this was time limited to response.
