Hi @Lynncope,

0300 numbers are included within your allowances. They are treated the same as 01 and 02 numbers.

Ryan

Why can’t I call my emergency breakdown freephone number? It’s an 00800 number?

Hi @James Mowbray

You shouldn’t have any issues calling an 00800 number, do you have a bill cap on where this call may cost money? I’d recommend setting the bill cap to a low amount if you haven’t already and retry the call.

Have you been able to call this number in the past with iD Mobile?

Tom

Yes there’s a bill cap on the account, I presumed being a freephone number it would be free.

im new to ID but it was free on sky mobile.

@James Mowbray,

Sorry that you are still having the issue.

When you try and call the number what error or message do you get?

Kash

It tells me it’s not a freephone number.

Hey @James Mowbray

Sorry, I misread in my earlier post.

00800 are free from landlines but I believe carry a charge for mobiles.

0800 is free.

0800 is a call to a UK landline/company.

00800 is a call to an international landline/company.

Mohammed

Strange, it was free on my previous contract(sky mobile)

Hey @James Mowbray,

It may vary per network.

We do have 0800 numbers as free but I’ve never seen 00800 as listed as inclusive.

@Nikhil P can you confirm and we can update if needed?

Hey @James Mowbray + @Mohammed

I’ve checked with the team and it appears as though 00800 numbers are chargeable on the network.

@James Mowbray - as Mohammed suggested, it’s best if you call the number from a landline.

Thanks,

Nikhil

Thanks @Nikhil P

@James Mowbray  each network would have their own rates for different numbers so this was likely just free via Sky Mobile.
