not receiving authorisation texts

Hi, I joined a couple of months ago. I recently found that I’m not receiving all texts but mostly from companies when verifying eg bank PayPal or when paying for things online. I’ve tried Turing the phone on/off. Turning iMessage on/off as well as removing the SIM card but still no luck! Any suggestions??
