I am being charged international for a UK mobile starting 07999. The self help and agent were useless and referred to a page that confirms the number is not one that attracts additional charges. I'll end up going to social media like most things as customer service is non-existent

You could try one of the following social media platforms:
I believe iD agents are available on both platforms 9am - 5pm most days.
If you use live chat though, type “talk to a person” to avoid the 24/7 bot; real people are available 9am to 8pm weekdays, and 9am to 6pm weekends.
