how to cancell my contract

i have never used the sim and have lost it i have the account number but get nowhere trying to contact id to cancell .In desperation sent a cheque to head office with outstanding bill since i cancelled my direct debit and fee for 1 months notice .I will await any reply but dont hold out much hope Davebackpacker
