Contract ended, phone replaced privately but still paying the same amount.

I believe my contract (which included a phone) ended last November and the phone broke this March.  I bought a phone myself, and want to continue with ID as I like the service I get.  However, I feel that I should be paying less as I now own the phone.  How do I go about changing my Direct Debit.
