Incorrect data allowance after upgrade.

I’ve just upgraded my contract to a new phone and sim card today. My previous plan allowed 500MB of data per month and I have already used that this month so before the upgrade my allowance was 0MB. The new plan is for 50GB which I didn’t expect to be added straight away, I thought it would appear as next month’s allowance. However, I now have 7GB of allowance for the rest of this month. Whilst this is nice it doesn’t match my new contract of 50GB and so I don’t know if this is an issue with the contract or whether it is because I upgraded so late in the month ID have provided me with a ‘care package’ of 7GB to last the rest of this month. Any help on this matter would be much appreciated.

(My new contract is the Motorola Moto G 5G Plus with 50GB of data per month - £20.99 per month.)

Hello @Joe Metson,

It should be just that

or whether it is because I upgraded so late in the month ID have provided me with a ‘care package’ of 7GB to last the rest of this month.

When you upgrade part way in the month, you receive a pro-rata allowance.

Once your plan resets, your full allowances should kick in.

Any issues and just let us know here :)
