Keeping old iD Mobile contract phone number with new sim deal

Hi,

 

I recently purchased a new contract playing £9.00 monthly for 7GB Data, Unlimited minutes and texts. I thought I had chosen to keep my old number but this does not seem to have happened because on the invoice it gives a new number. When I put in the new sim card to activate, it said it was already activated, yet it did not match up with the account. Am I able to alter this so the new deal is in line with my old number?

Hello @ATaylor,

It sounds like you’ve ordered a new contract instead of upgrading your existing contract to this plan.

Can you just log into the iD app/account and confirm which plan shows?

If the old plan is still showing for your number, then this is the case.

If the same number is showing the new plan, then we may need to troubleshoot further.

 

In the event of the former, we’ll have to set-up a return and advise how you can upgrade, so please check this and let us know.

Sorry to hear you’re having the same issue.

The next steps depend on what you wanted to do in this situation.

You can either:

Return the new contract, and we’ll advise how to process an upgrade

Keep the new contract and we’ll help cancel the old one but the number would be lost.
