Obtaining PAC Code to move my Number from iD PayGo to my new iD Pay Monthly phone?
How do I obtain a PAC Code to move my Number from iD Pay as you Go to my new iD Pay Monthly phone?
Finaly got through on chat, and was told that I can't take my payg number to pay monthly so I've cancelled my new pay monthly plan as I want to keep my old number.

It's not possible to port from one iD plan to another this way so the information advised by our Live Chat is correct.
We also don't support transferring a PAYG to a PAYM SIM.
If you really did want to switch over and keep your number, you would need to use your PAC code to transfer your PAYG number out to a different PAYG SIM on a different network and then when that completes, you'll need to request a PAC code to then transfer your number away from that network back to iD on the new Pay-Monthly SIM.
It's not something we recommend to do due to the complications as we're not able to track the progress or help with your port-out should there be any issues.
