Trying to change sim only plan: Repeated "sorry something went wrong" error message

I’m not happy with my current sim only plan. Paying £15 for 5GB of data. I’m trying to switch to a far better deal i’ve seen available: £15 for 50GB. However i’ve tried to change both through the app and the website and I keep receiving ‘sorry something went wrong’ error messages every time I confirm. Please advise.

Have you had any luck since posting originally? 

You haven’t changed plan at all in the past 30-days have you?  That would usually be the only time a plan change would temporarily be prevented.
