I’ve just ordered a new phone as I upgraded yesterday. My current phone is an iPhone with I D but I’ll be upgrading to a Samsung. Can I still keep the same number?

As long as you processed it as an upgrade, it’ll be absolutely fine. Have you had an email confirmation email that lets you know whether or not it’s definitely an upgrade?
