Upgrade can't get past the 1p payment stage

Trying to upgrade to but once I have put my bank details in and its starts to process an error message comes up saying that it can't be processed and try again later. However the 1p is pending in my account and has been for over a week. How can I upgrade as the phone I want is finally back in stock and I don't want to miss out. Please help

I'm having the same problem as this - ttied upgrading twice and neither times said they worked - now I just have 2 1p payments pending in my bank? How do I get past this?

Are the name and address of the card you’re using the same as those submitted for the line itself?

Hi Will, yes the card is the same as the one linked to my current account, however I did update my address on the ID app as I don't live there anymore, is that what you mean?

Hi @mimi127,

Yes, this is correct as any address mismatches can cause the payment to be declined by your bank. Has it now worked after updating your address?
