Upgrade - Dont want text message

Hi

 

Is there a way to upgrade without getting messages sent to the phone - daughters phone upgrading for Christmas so don’t want her to know

Hi @Annypanmy,

Unfortunately we have no way to stop the automated messages regarding an upgrade. You could possibly tell her that you’ve changed her allowances only which will explain the text to possibly put off suspicion of a new phone?

Hi, i just upgraded my son’s phone, and like you, I didn’t want to receive a text message (to his phone).  There has been no text message confirming the upgrade, only an email to my email address which I set up the account with.  The email said it would send another email to let me know it has been dispatched.  I hope this helps?
