Upgrade - New Sim Not Activating

I recently upgraded from a sim-only rolling contract, to a new phone from ID. Alongside this, they sent a new SIM which my account is supposed to be transferred over to.

I followed the instructions for activating the SIM through my existing ID mobile account, however it says there is an issue processing my request.

I spoke to an advisor using Live Chat yesterday, and they said it should be automatically activated within 24 hours. However, whilst the new plan has appeared on my account, the new SIM still will not register on the network, and my old SIM is still working (except that I cannot text, and any data used comes up as extra charges on my account).

Live chat is busy - so does anyone here know how to resolve the issue?
