Why is my sim only upgrade being dispached?, why can i not keep the sim that is already in my phone and have that be activated as my sim only deal or am i being charged for both?

You can also continue to use your current SIM, if you log in to the iD Mobile App or My Account online, you will see within 24 hours of your upgrade, that your new plan is active.
You will get a new SIM in the post, but this SIM won’t be active, just keep it in a safeplace for now, just in case you need a replacement SIM in the future.
If you do wish to use your new SIM, you can activate it here.
Also, in the future, if you’d a new plan rather than upgrading you can simply just change your plan in the app, you can do this every 30 days.
