Return phone within 14 day window

I purchased my phone on 5th December 2020 but not happy with the signal. I have sent the phone off today and cancelling the contract. I have requested a PAC code on the ID app because I want to keep the number but it states I have an outstanding balance of £52.99 which is my monthly cost. I have returned within the returns window so unsure as to why I have a balance to pay. 

Please can someone help :)
