Let us know if you have any further questions @Jay12

Generally speaking you want to cap your account to prevent you being able to run up charges outside of your regular line rental.

Try to contact your friends and family through things like Facebook or Whatsapp but only whilst you’re on any local Wi-Fi whilst out there.

Hope you have a great time!

Thank you for this.   I also have a major problem receiving text messages.  Especially OTP for my Santander account which is how I access my funds.  My family say they recieve my texts but I do not receive their text replies.  Can you advise re getting access to send and receive important texts like OTPs.  Thanks

Hi @Jay12,

Are you still in Jamaica? What handset are you using? If it’s an iPhone, please turn of iMessages.

Will

I am using a Huawei P smart 2019 phone.

Hi there @Jay12

Did you receive these OTP messages just fine with us back when you was in the UK?

Are people able to call your phone at all?

Do you possibly have access to another phone out there that you could pop your SIM in to try and see if texts come through there at all?  We’re trying to eliminate if this might be a setting within your phone or not.
