SIM cannot connect to Italian network after a given period

I moved to Italy with my ID mobile SIM, and managed to connect to the local network via roaming. After several months the ID SIM stopped working, I assume because I had been too long out of the UK.

I've recently been to the UK and Austria, and the SIM worked perfectly fine in either case. I hoped that would restore the SIM functionality, but when I went to Italy again, the SIM still can't connect to any local network. 

As of now, I’m paying for something I can’t use, so I’m thinking to delete my plan altogether.

Does anybody know if there is a way to fix this?

Sounds like an issue with your iD account @Roberto Bianco.

I’d get in-touch with iD Mobile using online chat at https://idmobile.co.uk/live-chat.

Ask iD to explain why you can roam in Austria but not Italy - there might be something wrong with your iD account. 

FYI, iD plans are intended for UK residents, and a plan’s roaming allowances are affected if iD suspect you don’t live in the UK.
