USA Roaming 2022

Hello, I am

going to America for 10 days, please could I have some information on roaming, texting, calls etc usage from USA to UK. I can only find old info on here / EU stuff on the website.

Hello @tesorofriello,

I recommend starting with the “How much will I be charged for roaming?” community article.

The USA is not an inclusive roaming destination, so be careful and use Wi-Fi for data whenever you can.

Hey @tesorofriello,

As above, USA isn’t part of inclusive Roaming and does carry some hefty rates. I’d recommend switching to WiFi only and keeping Roaming turned OFF in the iD app/account and device to prevent any charges.
