VoLTE on Huawei P20 Lite

Hi [user=1687]xanpb_2004[/user], We do have another method of checking this and you can access the menu by dialling *#*#4636#*#* on the dialing app. Once you are on this page you can view the phone information and see if the VoLTE is enabled. We would advise not to change any settings on this menu. Please let us know if you are able to see the VoLTE settings there. Kash

Replacement SIM apparently activated but not working

Pay as you go balance expiry

Hi [user=7486]winslor_tee[/user], Your balance would remain on your SIM for 90 days if it isn't used, even if the SIM is in the handset. You would be notified before 90 days to advise you that the balance will expire soon. After 90 days your balance would be removed. I hope this helps. Kash

Charged for SIM not received

Calls diverting to a different number whilst abroad

Hi [user=10538]RosieA[/user], Sorry to hear about the issues that you experienced whilst in Portugal. It's strange that you were unable to get through to the UK number. It may be worth checking which network your SIM has connected to whilst abroad as this could cause issues with your connection. I would advise to access your network settings and manually connect to the MEO or NOS network whilst in Portugal to ensure that you get the best coverage. USA Roaming not working

Hi [user=10559]AL41[/user], Hopefully we can get this resolved for you so you can continue using your services whilst in the USA. Firstly in regards to the APN settings could you please try to delete these completely and enter the settings again and restart the handset. Secondly as you advised that you are unable to connect to the network I would advise to check which networks are available. I can see that the best network in the USA would be T-Mobile or AT&T so please try to manually connect to one of these. Transfer my mobile number to iD

If you would like to create your iD Mobile account you would need to do this with the iD Mobile number which you have ordered. Unable to send text messages

I would advise to try turning off iMessage by following the steps below and try sending the text message again. -On your iPhone, go to Settings. -Tap Messages. -Set iMessage to Off. Hi [user=10613]Blick on a stick[/user], Sorry to hear about the problem that you have experienced whilst abroad. It's strange that you are able to use all the service but unable to call the UK but we will try everything to get this sorted. Firstly I would advise to make sure you replace the 0 at the start with either of the international dialing codes +44 or 0044 when calling the UK. Secondly I would advise to manually connect to a network in Spain. Looking at this it would be best to connect to the Movistar or Yoigo network whilst in Spain. Unable to send text messages

Hi [user=10584]muhammadtalhah2001[/user]. Not to worry we will do what we can to get it sorted. Could you please check the Cap on your iD Mobile account as a £0 won't allow you to send a picture message. If the cap is at £0 you would need to increase this so that you can send the picture message. MMS messages aren’t included as part of your monthly allowance of texts, so every time you send one you get charged at our out-of-plan MMS rate which is 30p per message. -Kash

Hi @JessR091102 , Sorry to hear that you have experienced issues with signal in your area. If you processed an upgrade, you may have received a new SIM with this. In most cases with an upgrade, the new SIM is blank and not active. Are you able to try your old iD SIM in the device? We would like to investigate this further. Call and SMS forwarding

[user=10622]Minari[/user], Great to hear that you are thinking about moving to iD Mobile. Calls diverted will be charged at the normal call cost so calls diverted to another UK network would be included in your monthly allowances, anything outside of your allowance would be charged. Unfortunately iD mobile do not offer SMS forwarding so this wouldn't be possible at the moment. -Kash

I can’t receive texts in Mexico

Hi [user=10624]axel[/user], Sorry about the issues you are having with the coverage in Mexico. We have a few things that you can try to get this working so you can continue to receive texts. Firstly please could you manually connect to the network by going into your network settings. Looking into this Movistar would be the best network to connect to in Mexico. Secondly could you please ensure that data roaming is enabled as this can restrict services whilst you are abroad if it is off. If you have any problems with changing the settings please let us know which handset you have and we can guide you further. -Kash

Is my plan a takeaway plan?

As the USA is outside of this zone you would incur charges to use your SIM in the USA. Can I use the same phone number on two devices ?

Hi [user=3581]boodysaspie[/user], It's hard to advise on this as it depends on the amount of data that you use and the amount of data that you have on your tariff. If you believe that the data on your tariff is enough for both devices then that would be a good option. Although this being said it's easy to use up data quicker than usual if you are tethering, so it's a good idea to ensure that you have a cap in place.
