@MCR what happens if you dial:**61*447782333123**20#(You may need to repeat a few times until you get a “success” message on the iPhone.)

I can't receive OTP/security texts from any company

Hi @Leanne12 , OTP’s for me started to work again after about a week from number being transferred to iD. It is not clear if this was “fixed” by simply waiting a week or if a technical change was applied to my account. All I know is I checked everything under the sun from my end and all looked correct. How long is it since you transferred your number across?

Thanks @fauvehound , I don’t know why, but I always end up at 30 seconds, so frustrating. I wish iD had a clear, working, guide for all this

Thanks for your reply @Kendrick . I’ve tried your 2 stage approach a few times and every time I do **61*07782333123# it seems to put me back at 30 seconds. Oh well, will need to leave it at that

@Kendrick glad it worked for you  BTW, have you managed now to change the time duration for unanswered calls AND got the Voicemail to then pick up the call? If so, how did you manage that? I can only get it to work with 30 seconds

try entering **61*07782333123# into the phones keypad and press ‘call’.   This should now go to voicemail if not answered in around 30seconds? PS I found you may have to repeat this 2-3 times until you see a message containing “...successful…..”

@edwardjarvis , hi, was this ever resolved as I have the same issue? All I have learnt is that **61*07782333123# will get things working again, ie, after 30 seconds, Voicemail will correctly answer the call. However, nothing I’ve tried will allow me to change the delay before answering to say 20 seconds. eg **61*07782333123**20# still leaves it at 30 seconds or so. Any more clues?

Hi there @dgilbert2  Have you been able to speak to our Live Chat Team since your last message here? Hi @Kevin , Live chat just blamed the banks including gov.uk, refusing to escalate to the iD  Tech Team, so I got nowhere. A complaint has now been raised so fingers crossed this will now get resolved by that route. Failing that, I will have no choice but to move to another network

Hi @dgilbert2,   What sort of troubleshooting did you go through with our Livechat Team? They did not suggest anything. However, I have followed all advice posted on the multiple OTP problem posts in this community (Checked phone number in settings, imessage on/off and settings checked, sim card removed, iPhone restarted multiple times etc etc).

Callers hear 'number not recognised' message when they call my mobile

I have noticed that on my new iD account prior to setting up voicemail I was getting “number isn’t recognised” instead of voicemail picking up the call. Have you phoned voicemail and set it up? Worth a try

I do not receive ANY OTP’s since porting number to iD, eg banks, gov.uk, taxi firms, etc etc (All other functions work fine). Tried live chat but no help. What can be done, this seems a regular complaint now on this community. I am lost what to do other than move to another network. Any help appreciated.

@Ronnie thanks for your reply and I’m glad you are sorted now. How did you contact iD tech? I tried live chat who checked my account and said everything was fine so did nothing further to resolve it for me. As things stand I receive no two-way authentication at all e.g., from gov.uk, Google, banking services, Apple, all of which I have tried.

I’m in exactly the same position as above, transferred number from O2 today, everything working, settings all correct, iPhone restarted, but do not receive two-way authentication texts now. Seems a commons problem based on the above. What is the solution please, do I need to wait longer or does it need escalating?
