I've been charged for data in corfu when I drove around the island. The rest of the week no problem so why am I getti g charged now?

I had plenty of data available to use. It was just when I drove down the Eastern side of Corfu. Every where else was fine..

No SIM detected abroad

Thank you for your response. The phone started doing this the minute I got off the plane .not hot or water damaged . Most bizarre is the fact that since I came home none of the problems have happened.. I think if I go abroad again I will just take a different phone.
