upgraded and dont understand the next bill

I 'upgraded' on the 8th August from a £10 a month contract to £7 contract with the first 3 months at £3.50.  My billing period runs from the 24th July to 23rd August. I've now received my new bill which indicates a pro-rated monthly charge of £5.09. It indicates the -£3.50 discount and the -£10 payment received and  then states that my next bill will be £1.57. How was this amount arrived at ? There are no  calculations shown

Roaming & International charges

On my current plan, I pay £10 a month  but can only use  up to 7.72Gb while roaming. If I renew my plan & pay £5 for 3 months then £10 for 9 months I can use up to 30GB while I’m roaming.  Why is there such a difference in roaming allowances  for what is effectively the same monthly payment ?

Which network will I be using while roaming in Tenerife ? Will I be able to use 5G ?

Thanks for your quck answer. Your link is exactly what I was looking for.I wasn’t really expecting to be able to use 5G but it would have been  a nice to have.

expired rollover

Finally, I have the answer. THERE IS A 50GB ROLLOVER LIMIT on contracts with a data allowance of between 50GB & 100GB. 😥  I was informed last night via facebook messenger from iD Mobile.The extra 1.2GB that I have is the rolled over protion of a free 2GB allowance given to me last year (It runs out in August)I can’t find any reference to this limit on any of the support pages, nor in the documentation that I received when I upgraded to 60GB.

Paul,I forgot to mention that 5G also works on my Poco F3 which also isn’t on the iD 5G device list.Do you have any thoughts on why the ‘VO WiFi’ icon appeared briefly on my phone and then disappeared ?

Thanks for your prompt reply.I don’t know whether you’re on the iD network or not  but as I understand it neither Wifi Calling nor VoLTE work on a phone unless it’s on the the iD mobile list of approved devices for these services. The Poco F3 isn’t on either of their lists.

I’m pleased to report that my phone(Poco F3)  is able to use iD Mobile 5G when I’m in a 5G enabled area.

My 5G enabled phone (Poco F3) doesn’t  appear  on the ‘iD 5G supported devices’ list. Does this mean that in order to use 5G on my phone I need to switch away from iD ?
