Unable to send text messages from outside uk

hello Parus, That issue looks like a problem with the Roaming Network not being able to identify the destination is the UK so the SMS is failing. If you have the option ask if there is an alternative long SMS where you can use the +44 prefix number for your Bank. Best Regards Ian

Austria roaming

Hi Arrow, Sorry you are still having problems, can you confirm that your daughter has activated Roaming on your iD account? The steps are for turning on roaming are: • Log in to the app or My Account. • Select ‘Services’. • Toggle ‘Roaming’ on. I hope that helps Best Regards Ian

Try selecting a different mobile operators network and also if you have a free source of WiFI try connecting and confirm if the issue is still present. Hi George, Sorry your having problems, I think it would make sense to give Carphone Warehouse Customer Care Team a call to confirm the status of your account and also the situation with regards to the SIM card. Austria roaming

Hello Arrow, I would recommend that your daughter searches for an alternative Mobile Phone Network and tries to register on another mobile network as it maybe the network she was previously connected to is out of range. If that does not work it can sometimes help to restart the phone and the phone will try and connect to the available network in that location. This occurs when you land at an airport and as the phone connects it tries first home network (ID Mobile) then notes that the location is not UK and then tries local networks it can connect to. Hi, If you wish to move to another network please call iD Customer Care to issue you with a PAC Code. You can get a PAC Code from iD Mobile by calling 7777 on your iD Mobile handset. Alternatively, dial 0333 003 7777 from any other phone. Regards Ian

Can’t get 4g on account

Hi LailaIsmail, I am not sure what phone your daughter has but if she is not able to get 3G or 4G data there are a few things to confirm. Check that data is enabled on the phone, confirm that the network settings are correct (this is what allows the phone to connect to iD Network and can access data. Network Locked Issues

Hello George, Sorry your having problems, I would get the Network Unlock Code from Vodafone, with the ID mobile SIM inserted turn the phone on once it goes through the menu you will need to enter the code Vodafone gave you. When you enter this this will either say network unlock successful or code accepted then continue to the main menu. If the code is rejected do not enter any other codes but go back to Vodafone and explain that you have the error. Once the phone is unlocked it should work with all SIM cards and as such you should be able to use ID Mobile with the phone. Once connected you should receive a message from ID. Conference Call on SIM only deals

If you want to add another person to a call in a conference you need to follow the steps below. [list=1] [*]If you want to add another caller to your current call you need to make a call to one person, let them know you are adding the other person, touch the Add Call icon. [*]Dial the second person. ... [*]Wait for an answer tell them you are talking to the other person then there is a Merge option [*]Touch the Merge or Merge Calls icon. ... [*]Touch the Red End Call icon to end the conference call for both parties. [/list] As you are creating the conference your minutes will be used for both calls at twice the speed example a 1 minute call will use 2 minutes of allowance. Regards Ian

Network Locked Issues

Hello George, I hope this answers your question - There is a difference between PUK, PAC and NUC. NUC (Network Unlock Code) is to Unlock the phone so you can use other Network SIM in your mobile. PAC (Porting Authorisation Code) is a code[b] [/b]consisting of 3 letters and 6 numbers, which is generated by your current network PUK (Personal Unlock Code) is to Unlock the SIM which locks up if you enter incorrect pin 3 times. If your phone is asking for PUK Code, then you need to call ID whose SIM you are trying to use. They will give you the PUK to unlock your SIM. Vodafone will not have that. The PUK code that Vodafone will provide will be for the Vodafone SIM. Only once you have the code enter it into the phone. I hope this helps, Ian

Your Sim Card

Hello Simon, Sorry to hear you are having problems, to register your sim please try this link - https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/id-app-and-id-account The issue you have with SIM network unlock PIN - this sounds like your current phone is locked to the previous network. You will have this problem with a network locked mobile, the options are to speak to your current provider regarding unlocking your mobile, go to a shop that can help or try sites like Ebay where you provide the Phone IMEI and Model type and they will send you a code. When you put in the new SIM card, you enter the code you have been issued which is unique to the phone. Once the phone is unlocked you can use any SIM card from any provider. Best Regards Ian
